Dennis Paul Your SREC Committee man for SD11 will be the featured speaker at the Clear Lake Republican Club Tuesday Night Oct 20th at the Clear Lake City Courthouse Annex.  There will be a social at 7pm and the meeting will start at 7:30 come learn about the 11 constitutional amendments on the ballot in November's election.  We will discuss all 11 amendments and talk about their pros and cons.  Come by and discuss these with your fellow citizens. 

 

Also note that the San Jacinto Republican women has moved its meeting to Tuesday Night;  They too will be discussing these amendments;

The 11 Proposed Amendments to the Texas Constitution

On Tuesday, November 3, voters will decide on 11 amendments to the Texas Constitution. Voters are often called upon to make changes to the Texas Constitution and have approved more than 400 changes since its original adoption in 1876.
