It has been a great start to the fall. I have been attending many events in the district as well as interim committee hearings in Austin.

As the legislative session approaches, don't hesitate to get in touch with my office with ideas on possible legislation. I have found that some of the best legislation comes from ideas that constituents have brought to me.

Early Voting for the November General Elections starts on Monday, and I have placed information on polling times and locations below.

November General Election Information

Monday, October 24th is the first day of Early Voting for the November 8th General Election. You can find information on Polling locations and operating hours by clicking here.

Over the fall and Summer, I have been attending the interim hearings of the two committees on which I serve. Above, Mayor Michel Bechtel of Morgans Point is pictured testifying before the House Natural Resources Committee regarding the Gulf Coast Protection District.

Last month I joined fellow Representative Greg Bonnen and State Senator Larry Taylor in welcoming Governor Greg Abbott to the region.

I had the honor of helping cut the ribbon for the new Collins Aerospace facility at the Ellington Spaceport. Also in attendance was our United States Senator, Ted Cruz!

Several weeks ago I updated Bay Area Realtors on what to expect during the upcoming legislative session. Thank you for the invitation to speak!

Last week I received an update on the Coastal Barrier Project with U.S. Senator John Cornyn and Morgans Point Mayor Michel Bechtel

At last week's Texas Chemical Council Annual Industry Luncheon, John Collins from My district won Volunteer of the Year. Congratulations John and thank you for volunteering in our community!

Eliza and I had a wonderful time at the Southbelt - Ellington Chamber "Epicurean Evening A Taste of Space" at the Lone Star Flight Museum.
