New Maps

The court has sent out new maps depending on all of the parties if they are accepted this would mean a May 29 Primary.  I will keep you all updated about the process of accepting these maps.  On a quick glance it looks to keep the districts around SD11 close to what the state drew with the exception of a dismantling of HD 144 in Harris County.  The senate district is close to what we had and the other house districts did not look to far off, again this was a quick glance.  In the congressional seats the moved much more of Clear lake City out of CD22 and put it ion the new CD36.  CD14 looked similar.  The maps can be see on the district viewer at the legislative councils site at this link http://gis1.tlc.state.tx.us/.  The congressional map is C235, The Senate map is S172 and the House map is H309.  I will get more info as it comes out.
