I want to thank all of our nation's men and women who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. A freedom to live and worship as we choose and to govern ourselves as we wish. I thank them all and may God bless this nation and the great state of Texas!   Gov. Abbott's Address to Joint Legislative Session Honoring Memorial Day   Governor Greg Abbott addressed a Joint Session of the Texas Legislature commemorating Texas fallen heroes in honor of Memorial Day on Saturday.  "For the past few months, this Capitol has been a battleground of democracy.
