Friends,
I want to thank you again for allowing me to serve as your State Representative. Although there is much to be done, I'm proud to have provided District 129 with a conservative voice in Austin. During this Session we:
- Passed a budget that holds growth to below population growth and inflation.
- Provided tax cuts for business and individuals.
- Helped to secure the border by hiring 250 new DPS officers to work on border security only.
- Passed a human trafficking law.
- Passed open carry and campus carry laws
- Funded transportation needs and created a constitutional amendment to dedicate 2.5B to transportation.
- Passed a number of pro-life bills and defunded Planned Parenthood.
- Passed a pastor protection Law.
Additionally, I've done my best to keep you updated with frequent newsletters, as well as hosting a "post-Session" town hall mtg to update the voters and field questions.
