District 129 Session Newsletter

Today marks the 60th day of session, which also means that the bill filing deadline has arrived. In total, I have filed 30 bills on a wide range of issues affecting the people of Texas. If you would like to track my legislation, please click HERE.


Our hearing for the House Committee on Insurance is Tuesday, March 7th, at 8:00 AM. We will hear testimony on various bills. Please click HERE to see the bills and to watch online.

Updates

Texas Space Day

On Monday, we welcomed NASA & many Texas aerospace companies to the State Capitol. I was honored to accept a flag that was flown on the Artemis I mission on behalf of the Texas Legislative Aerospace Caucus.

University of Houston - Clear Lake Day

Also, I was proud to welcome University of Houston - Clear Lake President Richard Walker and many from the university to their State Capitol. I had a great time visiting with them and discussing a variety of topics. I am proud to have introduced HR 318, which recognizes March 7th as University of Houston - Clear Lake Day at the State Capitol. Go Hawks!

Texas Energy Day

We welcomed various groups from the energy industry to hear their legislative priorities for the 88th Legislative Session. This industry is vital to District 129 and to the booming Texas economy.
